Team chokes away 3-goal lead to an opponent that managed only 3 shots in the 2nd period. Loses in overtime, and why? Because...officiating was bad? Please. Come up with something more original.

I thought a penalty shot was the wrong call. A minor for tripping, yes.

I'd argue it wasn't a trip either, the stick hit him in the shins. Shame on the Blues for letting it get to the point where that mattered though.

Also don't understand why Yeo didn't challenge the third goal. As inconsistent as the refs have been on those calls all year, it certainly was worth a shot. Watson skated straight through Hutton's head before Hutton knocked the puck towards the goal. If the challenge was lost, then the Blues get a timeout after giving up 3 goals in 5-6 minutes, nothing to lose.

Classic Stl Blues. A talented team that will dominate for stretches of play. But absolutely no heart or fight in them. They wilt under pressure and even small amounts of adversity cause them to sink. I don't think they have any real leadership on their roster. Not that it matters, but after seeing that replay, Yeo should have at least challenged that third goal. What does he have to lose?
